Access to and Storing of Medical Data

Access to Your Medical File

You can access your medical file in the clinic or you can request it to be sent to you by post.
If you consult the file in the clinic you may ask for help from a doctor of your choice.

You must submit a written request. You must prove your identity and, if necessary, your status (legal representative, heir, etc.). Finally, you must specify if you wish to access all or part of your file.

To facilitate this step, you will be asked to fill in a form which you will be given by the establishment*.

If the file is to be sent by post by recorded delivery , you will be invoiced for this in accordance with the tariffs in force*. Consulting your file in the clinic is free (provision of a copy will be invoiced to you*).

The maximum timescale for access to your file is 8 days for files less than 5 years old, and 2 months for files that are 5 years old or more. A minimum timescale of 48 hours, said to be for reflection, must be observed.
* For any information please contact the management on +33 (0)2 28 25 52 55.
