Quality/Safety

Certification is an external assessment procedure performed by health professionals. It makes it possible to assess not only the quality management system but also the organisation of treatment and the Professional Practice Evaluation approaches.

The aims of this procedure are:
- to improve the quality and safety of the treatment given to the patient
- to promote evaluation and improvement approaches
- to strengthen public confidence by communicating results.

The French High Authority for Health (HAS) is responsible for implementing this certification.
