Treatment and Interventional Cardiology Unit
Treatment is provided by the Treatment and Interventional Cardiology Unit 24 hours a day. The unit consists of a cardiology intensive care unit, a hospitalisation sector with telemetric surveillance and a technical support centre for cardiac rhythm studies (implantation and monitoring of pacemakers and cardiac defibrillators, radio-frequency ablation) and Interventional Cardiology (haemodynamics, coronography, coronary angioplasty).

Furthermore, this unit provides slice imaging (MRI and cardiac scanner) in collaboration with the NCN radiologists.

Admissions are made at the request of general practitioners, SAMU, Accident & Emergency departments and public and private hospitals.

The Treatment and Interventional Cardiology Unit has developed a programme of therapeutic education and risk factor prevention in collaboration with the Respecti-Coeur network, for the treatment of patients presenting with heart failure or heart disease.

Outpatient cardiovascular explorations
Treatment is performed during working hours by private cardiologists from the Nantes region. All non-invasive cardiovascular explorations are performed by NCN: stress test, trans-thoracic, trans-oesophageal and stress cardiac ultrasound, vascular Doppler ultrasonography.
